This committee has two set meetings per year — in January to recommend a budget to be adopted by the full council for the ensuing fiscal year; and a further financial review in August. It is empowered, with the appropriate formal notifications, to meet at any other time of its choosing to discuss matters of policy that will then require the endorsement of the full council. The Chairman, former chairmen who remain as councillors and the current chairmen of other committees are eligible to attend. The Clerk and RFO will also be present. Meetings are open to the public.
